Symptoms of healing liver?

I went from drinking 8 hard liquor drinks a day, starting in the morning to take off the shakes. im now on my fifth day of larazapan 10mg. in the morning and 3-4 glasses of wine per late afternoon or early evening. Im trying to wean and it is going well. I feel better mood better no shakes, more energy and more productive.
Today, under my uper rib cage around the sternum it seems to be sore like I worked out. Is this my liver having problems or a sign of healing or not related at all. I havent done anything strenuos.

Hello, i too am very impressed with your decreasing your alcohol consumption and possibly stopping?  I'm sure that you've had good reasons to slow down if not quit. I think that you absolutely need to go to the doctor about what physical symptoms you are experiencing. It doesn't sound good.  Better safe than sorry. Best wishes to you.

Hello

It's good to hear that you are taking control of your alcohol consumption, are you planning to stop completely in the future? I don't think anyone on this site could say what your pain is as we are not medically trained! Would it be possible for you to visit your doctor and does he/she know about your alcohol abuse. I'm sorry I could not be more helpful, I do however wish you every success with the alcohol reduction :-)
