Yes i do, dont stop cold turkey if you are a heavy drinker it could lead to seizures! You are doing the right thing by reaching out! Great job. I know what detoxing is all about... defiantly have somebody with you just in case and you have probably heard about aftercare it is truly important for myself I needed a 12 step program for support I wish you well and pls keep me updated or if you have any questions feel free to ask me!!
Just know we cant do this alone. Get into some sort of recovery care. Your life depends on it~~~~~sara
A man i knew at age 15 who had a bad alcohol problem then died a few months ago at age 39.We all loved him.He was a binge drinker. Was at neighbors house drinking.Came home fell down basement steps and cracked his head open.He lie there for 4 hours until his wife came home and rushed him to ER.He died within 24 hours. His BAC. was .39.Many alcoholics have fatal accidents at home and end up dead or severly incapacitated.Hope you get a handle on this soon...sounds like u drink alone at home quite a lot!
I have lost many things including my self respect. but ill be strong and pray god to give me the strength i need to win this battle against the devil call alcoholism.
Still have some shakes, but i got medicine for five days. Hopefully the will be everything for me , i hope for life because it was the worst experience of my life.
Hello. Detox is a b1tch, with or without help. But If you are willing to go to any lengths afterwards, there is a solution. Do you want to live or die? That's essentially what it comes down to. If you need medical help, get it. But overcoming the initial shock is but a beginning. However, the rewards are exceedingly surprising. It is your choice. Take care, GM
doesn't sound like your really ready to stop drinking!what do you think your bottom is?what haven't you lost yet that you might?Your survey is ridiculous!
