His meditation cds are so good, they teach you how to listen to your body and be aware of all that is going on with it,my counsellor put me on to him.

I just lay on my bed with the earphones in,I could listen to him all day,he is an actual doctor who believes in alternative treatments,

Hi and welcome back.  You are definetly not alone on this one.  I agree with ibizan as it has helped me out quite a bit....AA or NA?  Having a great support network has helped me stay sober many times.  Today I got a little squirrely in the head and made a few calls to tell on myself.  Being stuck in my own head is the worst thing for me.

As far as sleep goes I try to do something physical on a regular basis.  Something that makes my body work as well as helps relax my mind.  If I spend all day laying around I find that I'm not tired and can't sleep.  Keep in mind that sleeplessness is common when first stop drinking.  Try to take it easy on yourself.  If you can't sleep lay there with your eyes closed and try to rest.  If you find yourself tossing and turning and geting frustrated get up and do something.  Good luck  we're pulling for you!!!
