Singular, adverse reactions. Three months

I feel I did not associate my sysmtoms, stomach extention, vomiting, with Singular.  I had taken in the past it with no effect, so it took multiple tests (down the stomach, xray, cat scan, etc) with no results, then I looked on line for symtoms of adverse reactions to Siingular and went offl.  I had had bad symtoms since December 23,  and kept taking Singular until last week.  My question is will I go back to normal, my stomack feels like it was streched out,  Also did I do damage to my liver and pancreas.  I am a former patient of Jewish and always grateful for the great care.  Should I be worried about the length of time I was having problems, and what should I do.  Thank you, K.

Hello and hope you are doing well.

The gastrointestinal side effects reported with singulair are diarrhea, dyspepsia, nausea, and  vomiting. Besides it can cause liver injury and an increase in liver enzyme levels, this is more so in patients who have a preexisting liver disorder and in those who consume alcohol. But these effects should revert with stoppage of the medication. For a follow up on this you can have your liver function tests done. Please discuss this with your doctor am sure he will provide further assistance.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

What are your present symptoms and did you have any digestive issues
or G/I issues from before at all?
What are you taking now in place of Singular?
There are a few things you can do.
I'll wait for your reply.
