Hello again.
Allergy shots can take up to 6 months to really start working. You should notice some improvement after about 3 months though. I know, that isn't what you want to hear right now. Be sure to talk to your doctor about how you are feeling and certainly good friends. I will PM you as well.
Hang in there and God bless.

Hello and welcome to the community.
The schedule does seem a little odd to me. What kind of shots would he/she use? That could make the difference in the scheduling.
My allergist starts people on a rush or clusters (every 3 - 4 days), then once a week until they are on maintenance dose and then once a month. She then retests every 2 years after that. I am finishing my third year of allergy shots. I know many people who have been on them longer than that. I know of someone who has been on them 6 years.
Allergies change and it is always possible to develop new ones. So, that is why it is wise to be retested if you continue having symptoms.
Please let us know how you are doing and your doctors methods for doing shots.
Take care and God bless.
