thanks for the info. My doctor is aware of the antibiotics i am allergic to, and she said that this one is usually prescribed for people sensitive to penicillins. Thanks again, take care.
Hi,
The chances that you would develop an allergic reaction to the erythromycin now are very less.
But you should still keep oral antihistamine or antiallergic medications at hand for use in case of a sudden flare up of symptoms.
Do report any abnormal symptoms to your doctor.
Let your doctor know the antibiotics you are allergic to , next time onwards.
Let us know if you need any further information and post us about how you are doing.
Regards.
thanks so much for the info. Its been over a day and I feel fine, other than a little nausea. I feel more at ease now. Thanks!
put your mind at ease . If in the event you have some reaction
(I have peeling hands and feet to almost all antibiotics) take
benadryl keep it on hand and it will stop reaction, then
tell Dr. next day. From E.
