Pranayam will help to control your blood pressure. When you can do 15 minutes of anulom vilom twice a day, your blood pressure will be in control. The kapalbhati will boost your metabolism and control the sugar level. As you do the pranayam regularly, a lot of your symptoms will decrease gradually, and your energy level will rise..
Build up your timing gradually. If you feel tired or dizzy, stop and resume after one minute.
Kapalbhati pranayam -(Do it before eating) Push air forcefully out through the nose about once per second. Stomach will itself go in(contract in). The breathing in(through the nose) will happen automatically. Establish a rhythm and do for 20 to 30 minutes twice a day. Children under 15 years – do 5 to 10 minutes twice a day.
Not for pregnant women. Seriously ill people do it gently.
Anulom Vilom pranayam –
Close your right nostril with thumb and deep breath-in through left nostril
then – close left nostril with two fingers and breath-out through right nostril
then -keeping the left nostril closed deep breath-in through right nostril
then - close your right nostril with thumb and breath-out through left nostril.
This is one cycle of anulom vilom.
Repeat this cycle for 15 to 30 minutes twice a day.
Children under 15 years – do 5 to 10 minutes twice a day.
You can do this before breakfast/lunch/dinner or before bedtime or in bed.Remember to take deep long breaths into the lungs. You can do this while sitting on floor or chair or lying in bed.
I personally do the following 7 things for HBP control. (Also good overall health protocol )
1 Drink plenty of filtered water.
2. Do conscious breathing, 7"-2-7" for 5-10 min. multiple times daily.
Hava's protocol is interesting. I'll try it myself. Thanks for that!
3. 30 minutes minimum meditation ( with my own wellness script) and mantra chanting
several times weekly.
4. Co-Q10, Lysine, Glutathione (from Un-denatured Whey Powder), MgCl-transdermal.
Send me a message or post again for specific info-specially on Glutathione and MgCl
They are a bit complicated for delivery and assimilation.
5. Alkaline diet, limited caffeine and alcohol, 1T Virgin,Organic apple cider vinegar before meals. Use Extra Virgin Coconut Oil for cooking - all other cooking oils are pro-inflammatory. Only medium chain fatty acids like coconut oil and palm oil are safe.
Check it out at the coconut research center website.
6. Long walks daily if possible, or other low impact activity.
7. Daily energy re-balancing - chakras and or EFT - Takes care of stress and emotions.
I have No HBP issues presently.
Check your GTF (glucose tolerance factor), usually linked to Chromium deficiencies,
in regards to higher glucose levels in your blood, and a possible connection to a Magnesium deficiency. It takes 56 molecules of Mg to process 1 molecule of glucose.
They're usually all connected.
Send me a message if you need more details
Take care and many blessings to all,
Thank you everyone , well my BP is normal , my blood sugar is highish but not diabetic I am feeling pretty good, I got some Hibiscus tea and drank it... I am trying all the exercises especially nose breathing ...if I stay away from traditional doctors I may live to be 100 ...thanks for caring ...
Sesame and Rice Bran Oils: Healthy Fatty Acids
According to new research conducted by the American Heart Association, people who incorporated a blend of both sesame and rice bran oils into their cooking reduced their blood pressure significantly. Additionally, consumption of the oil blend coupled with high blood pressure medication produced even more optimal results among average aged men and women. Fatty acids and antioxidants found in the oils are likely helping to reduce blood pressure.
High cholesterol among test subjects also saw a decline, with a 26 percent decrease in LDL's (bad cholesterol) and a 9.5 percent increase in HDL's (good cholesterol). "Rice bran oil, like sesame oil, is low in saturated fat and appears to improve a patient's cholesterol profile," says Devarajan Sankar, MD, Ph.D., a research scientist in the Department of Cardiovascular Disease at Fukuoka University Chikushi Hospital in Chikushino, Japan, in the AHA press release.
