I have sensation of tightness in feet. It is not pain.Etiology is not known. will mj work on my symptom. I feel that I am wearing tight socks throughout the day and night.Or is there any exercise for this symptom.
For the first time in my life I smoked marijuana last year. It certainly eased my asthma. That is not pain, of course, but it flies in the face of medical practice - and works anyway. So maybe it will work for pain. You have to try it to find out. It made me cough, however, so they switched me to a water pipe, which was better. I haven't used it since, but if my asthma gets worse I probably will. I didn't get high at all, but people told me that you don't the first time.
The only difficulty is that pot isn't specifically for pain, and it tends to act differently in different people, whereas the pain meds you're on now pretty much always work for pain (of course, there is some variability in anything, but opiates and neurontin, being copies of substances naturally found in the brain, tend to be easily assimilated for their purposes). If it works, on the other hand, it's not addictive like the opiates. You will be stoned, however, but because it's not addictive you won't need more and more as one does opiates -- in fact, you usually need less the more you use it. As I mentioned before, some people will get nervous or really hungry, etc., on pot, so it's effects are much more unpredictable. If you do go this route and it works, try to eat it, not smoke it, as it theoretically can damage the lungs, as can breathing in anything that doesn't burn completely, and if you do smoke it, use a water pipe or something else that doesn't require burning paper. Good luck to you.

Here is the link to the pain management. They are good people over there and should be able to answer you better.
Personally i believe it would be the lesser of the evils you are on now..........sara
You seem to need pain mangement I think I would ask overthere they have a great forum as well .The pot wont take away from the WDs of all of the other drugs but as for long term pain mangment if thats what you need then its an avenue to check into.
Hi Lucy~ Well, being that you are a mature person,I for one, will let it go. :)
I've never liked pot for any reason. That's just me. BUT, up against all the other drugs you've mentioned,I think it would be worth a try! This is only my opinion, based on my medical experience and knowledge of opiates, benzos, and neuontin.
You can always speak with your doctor about this and I urge you to do just that. Some have spoken on the forum of a little relief from withdrawl symptoms when using pot but I doubt that it's much. That, you'll still have to endure.
Good luck!
