Pulled Muscle from Gas?

Scenario: 1st off I have panic disorder, so the thought always make things worse. Ok, so 2 weeks ago, I had to all of a sudden put my cat down which broke my heart, that following weekend was my dads 70th surpise party, I pigged out on pepperoni and Extra Sharp Provolone, there was alot extra, so I took it home and ate it all week. That Friday night, I felt a POP POP POP in my left breast area, thought it might be gas, but was hard to breath a bit. Called doc and he thinks it's a pulled muscle, I didnt do anything strenuous, I dont think.
Ok, so this is the 5th day and The left side feels much better and I can breath better.
But for the past 2 days I have had a kind of throbbing annoying pain right on the top of my right breast, it comes and goes, last night it totally went away only to be back thgis morning? PLEASE, I am petrified of tests, docs and all that stuff and am working myself up to a panic attack, the only thing that is helping me right now is .05 of ativan. Any Ideas on what this could be?

I have had a 2d doppler last year on my heart, doc said it was strong and perfect.
No history of breast cancer or heart problems.

41 year old smoker (3/4 pack a day) 5'3 160lb. Overweight and trying to change diet

There is no way any of us can diagnose what is going on with you. I'm sorry to tell you that if you want an answer to these questions, you're going to have to bite the bullet and see your doctor. At the age of 41 I'm sure you've been to the doctor a number of times and have survived every encounter. You'll manage it again. If it will help, take one of your Ativan before the exam, just be sure and tell the doctor you took it as it may affect your blood pressure.
You had a test on your heart last year and your doc said it was strong and perfect. You have no history of breast cancer or heart disease. All of that works in your favor. Did you know that there are many, many things in our chests that can hurt but are not fatal. Most people when they think "chest," they think only heart and lungs. But there is a ton of junk in there besides those two things.
I am very sorry to hear about having to put your beloved cat down. I, too, am a cat person and I know what a sad and horrible time it is. Not only to lose your friend, but making that terrible, final decision is soul wrenching. If you're anything at all like me, you probably cried your eyes out for days. Did you know that very hard crying can pull muscles in our chest wall? And they can take a long time to heal completely. I'm not saying this is what is going on with you, I'm just saying that we can pull muscles and not even be aware of it. Perhaps at your dads party, you did something to pull a muscle? You can even do it by laughing too hard!
I just don't want you to panic, thinking the worst, when it's probably nothing more than a muscle strain. But you won't know if you don't see the doc.
And he'll know what it is.
Let us know how you're doing, OK?
Peace
