ANYONE ELSE???

I suffer with Anxiety and have suffered for 6 months now...
I wanted to know if anyone else gets this disturbing head symptom...it's a  dazzed out head feeling, you feel as if you've been staring at something too long and your eyes began to cross each other. My head also feels pressured for a brief moment and my face sometimes feels flushed. I also began to feel dizzy, not so much a spinning room dizzy, but more of a faint feeling dizzy, however I've never fainted! Does anyone else experience this? It's so horrible!

Hi Yatta07
Its crazy what the mind makes you feel. Symptoms is endless, headaches, blurred vision and the intense fear of going crazy or worse DEATH......I am taking Sertraline which is a Zolofot(dont know if thats spelt right) seems to help, makes me feel a little less scared but the symptoms are still there. Will it ever go? They think my anxiety is down to post natal depression which i had after my wee boy was born on March 07, never got help so i think it just fested away until bamm one day i thought i was gonna pass out and could hardly move was really scarey and ended up in E&A. Sometimes i feel the docs just dont want to listen.

We will get there, lets just stay positive and remember each good day overides the bad!!!

So good to know I'm not alone! No...No meds at all! Honestly I rather suffer! I know I should try something however, so I'm seeking natural ways to deal...and so far things like Green tea, Vitamin B12 (Complex), and extra rest has helped me tremendously! I still however suffer from these acute moments of anxiety...I hate it! What are some of your other symptoms? Do you get the faint feeling? Do you feel at any given moment you'll just drop dead?

P.s. I too thought I had a brain tumor....this disorder has to go!

Welcome to all of our worlds at one time or another...yes, at the peak of my anxiety I felt that constantly for six months straight.  it stinks.  Hang in there.

I feel so much better now after a few years of therapy and medication.  It is 14 years now, and I still tend to get this way sometimes, but overall, I feel 99% better.

I definately get something simular to that, like a few minutes ago i was just staring at the wall randomly in a daze and then i started to feel really tense and i got all hot and started shaking and i got this pressure type feeling on the top of my head that made my eyes hurt and feel dizzy/lightheaded, i get it randomly.
I also get that feeling of your body like leaving you and then coming back, i get it at night when i'm trying to sleep though, which makes me feel worse and my heart pounds, it's a weird feeling, it makes me open my eyes suddenly aswell, it's scary! I'm always anxious when i'm trying to sleep though =/

Hi Yatta07, Welcome to my world. I have been going through anxiety for around 8 months now and its hell. I know what you mean about the dizzyness its as if for a second your body leaves you then comes straight back, does this make sense? I get headaches and think i have a brain tumor, have the hot flushes and sweat alot too.  I wish it would just disapear so i can get on with my life. Are you on Meds?
