Anyone out there please =.(

I have been feeling all of these symptoms for about 2 and a half months now. I am an 18 year old female that weighs 166 pounds and is 5'7'' Dramatic events have happened before these 2 months. Lightheadedness (constant), Chest wall pain (sometimes) tunnel vision (sometimes) dizzy spells (sometimes) heart pvc's, shortness of breath with exercise (each time)  (sometimes) blurred vision, dimmed vision, fogged vision (sometimes) neck pain (sometimes) shoulder pain (sometimes)  full spinal back pain (sometimes)  rib cage pain (sometimes), pelvic pain (sometimes)  hair loss, heavy periods, tension headaches (sometimes), ringing in the ears (has happened 5 times in the past 2 months), heard pulse inside right ear (once), whooshing sound in right ear (once), constipation (constant), diarrhea (sometimes), nausea (sometimes), severe depression (thoughts of suicide),extreme anxiety, feeling nervous and anxious every day. Can not focus well. Not sleeping well, feeling sluggish almost everyday. Wake up in a panic while sleeping. Constant thoughts that I may have a brain tumor or some kind of cancer. Random out bursts of crying and hyperventilation. Intense fear that I am going to die. Normal blood work, normal EKG, normal urine test. Normal retina eye exam. I have very minor astigmatism, not enough to need glasses though. Going to get a chest X-ray and a CT scan of my brain soon. I've also lost a great amount of weight these past 7 months due to joining Weight Watchers and constant exercise. I lost 50 pounds in 7 months, is that too drastic? Ugh. I'm so paranoid about everything. My dad works as a doctor in the ER and he still thinks that all my symptoms are due to stress, shock and and anxiety. I feel like I need to have every single test done though to rule out anything serious =( I'm sick of this intense fear. Any suggestions on what further tests I should get done?

You've ruled out everything else, so at least see a psychiatrist to either rule out anxiety or address it, just like you have everything else.  I know the symptoms can be overwhelming with anxiety that it makes it's difficult to accept that anxiety can cause all this.  But it can and does.  It sounds like you are suffering with health anxiety which is very commom.  Our worries and fears feed our anxiety......creating more symptoms.....creating more anxiety.....a vicious cycle.  We need to break this cycle.  By seeing a psychiatrist he can access your problem and recommend the proper therapist for your needs. You say dramatic events happened prior to these events....so it appears your anxiety has a root cause.  You're lucky in the sense that you're way ahead of the game by knowing that this anxiety was most likely caused by these events.  With therapy you cab learn how to cope with what happened and get on with a happier life.  Sometimes as parents we think if we don't make big deal of our child's anxiety that they will relax......but that's not how it works. Let your parents read what you wrote hear or write it in a letter to them, we tend hear more when we have to read it. As for your weight lost, you averaged around 4lbs a month and that not bad at all. What does concern me is you say "constant exercise" make sure you're not over-doing the exercise and are eating foods that nourish your body and take a multivitamin every day. Some of the things you mention happen to everyone from time to time, everything else points to anxiety and/or depression. You're not alone with this and sharing with us is a big first step towards getting better.  See a psychiatrist and I suggest a psychiatrist because should you need medications they are most knowledgable, but I think getting into therapy will get you back on track.  Obviously some things have happened that have triggered anxiety in you which has turned into an obcession about your health.  When anxiety creates so many real symptoms...how could one not think more is wrong?  You can and will have the happy life you want and deserve, you just need some help in getting beyond whatever happened, and that's okay.  We're always here to support you, share, help and just listen.  Big hugs to you....know it's going to be okay.
