So it all started with some pretty bad anxiety out of nowhere one night (felt fine for years before). This feeling of intense anxiety came and went for weeks. My symptoms also included dizziness and breathing troubles - this has since gone. I now feel (months later) like things aren't real and really tired sometimes for no reason. I also get a weird buzzing feeling in my hands and feet occasionally. I'm worried this could be something serious underlying (eg lupus, lyme etc) but my bloods and other tests are all negative. I'm looking for reassurance that this is just anxiety and any help is appreciated
Hi! I too have the same feelings. These forums are so great for everyone to reach out to others..... Cause guess what? You r not alone in feeling these things. The feelings are real, and anxiety intensifies everything. I struggle with believing it too. My symptoms are leg pain, back pain, tingles buzzing , brain zaps, fatigue..... And more. I always described the buzzing feeling like a cell phone vibrating in your skin! I finally had to reach out to a doc. If therapy or relaxation excercises don't work, you might need to inquire about medications. Hope this helps! I'm not a doctor, just a person reaching out to let you now you are not alone!
