Can anxiety and depression cause you to have a dry mouth and oral thrush?

so just being run down from depression and not being on my meds anymore could give me thrush you think ?

i didnt like taking the zoloft very much it was making really dizzy and tired but it has a different effect on everyone so giving it a try wont hurt.

just wanted to ask you a question about zoloft i was on effexor xr for 7 months i start zoloft 25 mg today with my effexor then next week i start the 50 mg and keep taking effexor for 1 month then im to stop the effexor after one month and be on just the zoloft how did zoloft make you feel ? i hated the effexor cant wait to get it out of my systom .i hear its pretty good by some people i know who takes it and they work good for them .and my dr is also calling me in some welbrutin to help me stop smoking .also i wanted to say i been waking up during the night earlier then im suppose to but last night i slept allnight and the reason was i would take my xanax a little early but last night i took it like 10:30 and i slept allnight and i felt better and i hear that the more you sleep the better you feel i dont sleep in the evening anymore like i use too i do lay down for a couple hrs after my kids go to school and then im fine but i get up at 5:30 -6am everyday except weekends ,on weekends i do great i feel fine but the 75mg of effexor's arent working and the 150's were too strong and i have a chemical imbalance and the dr says i will be on medication all my life i have panic disorder with depression and the fear where i never want to leave my house or drive but i will get better once i get on the right medication.

I get the cotton mouth feeling from some of my meds, but not from depression and anxiety alone. My tounge will turn white and I feel like I cannot swallow. The only thing that quenches my thirst is tea, nothing else.

thanks yea well i just stopped taking zoloft and donatal after a month of taking them i started to feel the dryness its been a few weeks since ive been off of them and i still have it im headed to the doctors today so we shall see.

Medication side affect and mouth breathing.  Also if you're generally run down due to your depression you could get thrush.

Panic attacks can cause dry mouth. Allergies and alcohol are other causes.
