new to forum, please tell me what you think..SCARED

well, about 5 yrs ago i started having a weard cramp like pain just below mt ribline, dead center and it extended into my back.
like a cramp in my diaphram!,,well after a few seconds,or couple minutes it would go away.
this has went on for years, and the doctors do not seem too worried about it.
i worry alot about things i know nothing about, and in the past 3 yrs i have lost my father and became a dad of two crazy little girls that can realy stress me out!
well my new symptoms that have manafested are as follows.
i started getting lightheaded all the time,,my hands fall asleep when im sleeping, and just recently i have noticed weard tingly feelings all over from my feet to my stomach,to my am=rms,,just all over.
they are not like pins and needles that stay constant,,they feel like cold tingly feelings like one one my toe, then one on my elbow, and so one exct.
this realy freaks me out and i dont know what to think.
when i told my doc about the dizzyness, and feeling something was not right with my weard stomach pain,,and that i didnt sleep worth a **** anymore,,he said i had GAD and gave me LEXAPRO,,well after a month, and no difference,i winged myself off,and stopped wasting my time at the doctors office
(i also demanded full blood work, and i was given a ekg,and ct scam on my head )
everything was negetive, anly thing was my "good" cholestoral was a little low, blood sugar was a little high...thats it,,he told me to watch what i ate,and work out a little more.
well, the lightheadedness has kinda gotten better,my hands dont fall asleep quite as much as they use to when i sleep,,,but the weard tingly feelings all over realy freak me out (there present all day every day for past 2 months),i know i need to go have this checked too,but i just HATE going to any doctors/hospitals.
please let me know any openions you guys have on this,or if my symptoms ring a bell to anyone elce,,thanks much,,,mt in indiana

Be sure to get an upper GI...you could have h. pylori...I had an upper GI and they found heliobacter pylori....it is a bacteria that only lives in your stomach and it causes ulcers, the doctor found I had it last November...and the cure was 3 weeks of anti-biotics and protonix. I was told that I probably picked up the bacteria at least 10 years before, and possibly as a child. Please, don't give up...I didn't and I'm glad that I didnt

I understand your frustration with doctors and hospitals...it sounds like you definitely need more medical testing...before you count yourself as crazy. It may be something as simple as a food allergy, or something more complex. I was poo-pooed by several doctors before I was diagnosed with hypoglycemia ... I finally got lucky and a woman doctor at the urgent care center as an after thought...decided to check my blood sugar...low and behold...there was the cause of my dizzy spells and disoriented feelings    (hypoglycemia)  There are a lot of tests out there ... but go to urgent care or ER when you have symptoms...keep going...

Sounds like you're going to live so quit worrying.  I don't say that lightly because I know it's easy to worry about these things.

The lyme disease could be there so you might want to check with someone at an infectious disease place.  Regular doc's don't know much about it which is surprising.

Otherwise, you should seriously look at your diet and exercise.  I would recommend that you think about cutting 90% of sugar out of your diet if you haven't already and also get on some aerobic exercise like with a elliptical machine.  Get a physical first.

I have tingling pin feeling a lot latley. It's anxiety for sure! I get that fealing when I have panic attacks! Especially in the morning when I wake up. The Dr. told me I have GAD. General Anxiety Disorder. He has me on Lexapro and sometimes I take Lorazapan at night to help me sleep. I also have night sweats too. And I'm almost positive thats from anxiety. What sucks is that I have nothing to be stressed about... the anxiety is just THERE! Sucks.. but I am getting better and I know I will get better. =)
Hang in there!

thanks for reading my lengthy bit of writing, and sorry about my spelling!
ya,i was thinking about gullbladder too,but wasnt sure,it seems like i can somewhat control it,like if im sitting and i get the pain,i can usualy get it to calm down if i stand up and walk around a little.,and i had that bad pain under my right shoulder where they say it tends to manafest itself with gullbladder problems...also drinking seems to agravate it.
as fas as the lightheadedness, stuff like that,,thats also what the doc said, but i have not had the pins and needles feelings checked out,,i was scared and everything i read about them pointed to samething realy bad like ms or diabetes!!!
i was screened for diabetes, that was negetive, but i was also scared of lymes disease,as i live around lots of woods, and about 2/3 years ago i did not see a tick i got bit by,but i got a weard circle rash on my thigh that now i see looked just like a "bulls eye " rash associated with lymes disease.
i didnt even know it was big in indiana, but here in n.,w, indiana,it is worse then anywhere in our state!
all i have to say is this and im sure most of you would agree,,,
IF IT IS NOT ONE THING,ITS ANOTHER!
well,thanks again,and i appreciate reading your comments,thanks, fallingapart33

Dead center just below the ribs could be your Gall blader.  I had the EXACT symptoms two years ago and finally had the think taken out.  Just a thought.  The tingling feeling could be a pinched nerve or just anxiety...I'm not a doctor but doesen't seem really bad.  I have a tingling feeling in both feet and finally DEMANDED an MRI on my lower back and found out I have a pinced nerve...having the epidural shot in the back in 3 weeks.

If you have your Gall Blader checked out the doc may give you a drug called "Urso."  The claim is this drug may reverse your gall blader to like new....didn't work for me.  Might be worth checking out.  Hope this helps.
