Anxiety Symptoms

Does anybody think that anxiety could present itself with same symptoms as Meniere's Disease?  Doctor diagnosed me with Meniere's, but after I had normal ENG, he now knows it's not Menieres.

Hey!!  I know one of the reasons I'm having such a hard time coping with this because I constantly feel this way, so it is constantly on my mind.

I guess we have no other alternatives besides putting it all in God's hands!!

You are definately right!  Rest does not help.  That's all I've been doing for the past yr and a half, and it has not made things easier.  I've never had a real stressful life anyways!!  I still live at home with my dad and he pays ALL my bills and ALWAYS has.  So, I've never had that to worry about!  God Bless Him!!!

But, you just can't work when you feel like this.  Some people would tell me, you could go get a desk job.  I say don't you think I would if I could.  I get SO TIRED of sitting at home all the time instead of doing things a 28 (29 in May) would be doing!!!

God Bless You for thinking of you!!

Hi honey. Use_Condom had a good thought about dimming your lights.  I have had this problem with my eyes for so long, I tend to forget the tricks I use to deal with it.  There is one lamp in my living room that is 40watts.  That's for reading.  Everything else is 15 or 25watt max.  The flickering of the TV can be bothersome too if watched in the dark.

I also have a dimmer switch in the kitchen.  Or, if you don't have a dimmer, just turn on the overhead light on the oven.  That's usually enough to navigate and keeps the kitchen nice and soft.

Your eyes sound like mine.  Super sensitive to light.  I may have said this before, but sunglasses, even when it's overcast can be a life saver.

Thinking of you.......

Then believe it with all your heart.  get rid of all your negative things.  i know it is hard.    But we spend so much of our time thinking of how bad it is.  start thinking about the good things in your life.

But what are our alternatives.  I know why I have mine.  or I think I do.  and i have had to change my life greatly.  I too am not working at the moment.  I handed my company over to my managers, and am taking 3 months off.

I find that rest does not help it.  Instead it is stress.  Just letting go of all our bad thoughts and feelings i the only thing that keeps me straight.

and i write this ony to help.  I too have not figured it out,  But am working on it,

I do believe in God and my I have put all my faith and problems in His hands.  I know he does it all in His time.  I have been going through this for 9 yrs and I'm fixin to be 29.  I am at the point where I would rather take something to make things better until it comes my time for a healing.  I believe with ALL of my heart that God WILL heal me.  It's just all in His time.  i don't rely on drs. for my healing.  I went and prayed with my preacher and he told me that God was gonna heal me miraculously or send me to a dr. that could.  I haven't been able to work in over a yr because of this!!  I would like to know why I am and what brought this on 9yrs ago, but I can't think of ANYTHING that has brought this on except I lost my momma to Cancer 8 mos. ago and it has gotten worse since then, BUT it all started 9 yrs ago.  I am gonna keep my faith in God and I know he will heal me!!!

I have also had anxiety for 3 years.  Really bad at times.  Stress related.

I have only tocuhed the pills for one day.  did that about 2 years ago,  I felt really weird.  so, i decided to not take any.

I have struggled with it, have gone down a spiritual path and tried to understand why I am like I am.  and found out many things about myself,  but always come back to not geting better.

Bambi, I have very little advice.  as i am not better yet.  I know I will get there.  But it takes time.

I had a friedn who started taking anti depresants,  do not know the mixture.  and she said it took over a year to get the right mix of meds.  I can see in her eyes that it hurts her taking them.  but she has to live with it.

I have not gone there because i want to know why i am like I am.  the engineer in me.

and I think faith in god,  even though he takes his time, is the best approach.

Anxiety symptoms, as my doctor said can be in many many forms that will bereally hard to list down. For eyes yes I have eye problems. In bright white light my eyes are getting really tired, I feel sleepy, I want to go somewhere dark and my vision is foggy but those are of course an outcome of the problem that is urging your mental system. Don't worry you will not use your eyes lol. Try to make some peacefull places for yourself in your house and use warm lighting or maybe dark. Try to feel relaxed and turn to yourself and think about how you feel when you are a child and how you feel now. Try to understand what has changed. DonT worry thinking the good days that you werenT an anxietic. It is really important to understand what the problem is and then you will achieve an acceptance level and then comes the cure itself.

Coming to the medication, depression meds will not be your main issue(That is my thought) They will inflame anxiety. The first drug that I used was Xanax. It is built for reducing anxiety to zero. When I took it all the symptoms were gone no weird feeling,no dizzines,no tiring. But as you may guess that med is higly addictive so I never took it again. Its use for me was that the understanding of my illness.
