I have some tablets but haven't took them because as I said in only 19 and I am having some CBT so I want to see if this works first before having medication because reading all the side effects again triggers my anxiety and makes it worse and I start to worry about side effects of them! It's silly and I feel so stupid when taking to friends or ringing the doctors because I don't think they understand :( Thankyou for your replies x
I have got some meds but haven't took them I don't really want to I am having CBT so hoping that might work? I don't really want to do meds as I said I'm only 19 and again my anxiety kicks in and thinks the worst and I can only think on the side effects and what might happen if I take them... I feel so silly especially thinking I'm going to die all the time, I'm so tired aswell constantly and my little girl sleeps through so I have no idea why I'm so tired. Thanks for your responses x
anxiety does crazy things to your body, are you on any meds? after i had my second daughter my anxiety got extremely bad and i finally had to get help and medication changed my life, i know it feel like something awfull is happening tto you but chances are that all the docs are right, its really scary i know
Thankyou, it's not my heart I'm worried about I'm
Worried I have a serious disease like cancer, it terrifies me, I know my bloods would have shown it up though so I know I don't need to worry, i have appointment with a cognative therapist soon, looking forward to it. I have recently just had my daughter and I'm only 19 so I have gone from being a beauty therapist in and out all day to a stay at home mum I think this May have something to do with it. The chest pains come and go but the breathing is almost constant worse in a morning for some reason! X
I am not a doctor, but I do suffer from panic disorder. Your symptoms all sound like anxiety. If they ran an EKG and blood test to eliminate heart trouble, then you should rest easy that there is nothing to worry about as far as the bad stuff.
If you need to go on meds for anxiety, better to take them ASAP rather than suffer.
Also, I would not see an MD for disorders such as anxiety. General Practitioners generally are not experts in mental health. Check around and see a good Psychiatrist who can diagnose you.
It is true, however, that your pain can be caused by a virus that is producing swelling and pain near your heart, which, in turn, is causing you anxiety.
I think you are fine and I would tell you to not get consumed you have an awful heart condition or disease. You had tests taken to eliminate the bad stuff. Next step is to see if anxiety meds are appropriate and try and find a cognitive therapist who might be able to get to the bottom of what may be causing you anxiety.
Don't needlessly suffer if meds that can help are available!!!
Keep me posted!!!
