Anxiety and Wellbutrin xl

Let me be real honest here....love to get opinons. I have tried a few medicines for my anxiety/depression. I cannot take Prozac anymore as it sends me into a anxious mess.....horrible...So I am afraid of SSRI. My doctor has put me on Wellbutrin xl, and I have been taking it about 10 weeks and I don't feel as depressed. I also take Lamcital 50. I have lost about 10 pounds which is good, but I feel like I have had 10 cups of coffee, especially from about noon to 6 and night.
I was using pot to help with the adrenaline feeling, not really panic, just speedy and full of anger if anyone crosses me.
I stopped the pot and I realize how speedy this stuff really makes me.....maybe it is not the Wellbutin xl. Has anyone else had this with Wellbutrin xl
I have a script for klonopin which I rarely take and Visteril which I use when I feel reall anxious, but I am not really feeling anxious...it is like an adenaline, amphetaline like feeling which I do not like.  I am wondering if this will subside.

Wellbutrin is known as a stimulating antidepressant.  That may be what you're experiencing.
