Anxiety and body functions...

I've been having extreme fear and anxiety over a chance on having contracted HIV from what doctors say were very low to negligible risk encounters. My palms and feet become sweaty, never experienced that before. Can anxiety raise body temperature to 99.7 when I'm very stressed out? It seems I'm sweating with no high fever, my feet feel like they're burning. Has anyone experienced fluctuations in body temperature and sweatiness associated with anxiety? I don't think I've ever been such a wreck. I lost 10lbs, have no appetite, and constant stomach turning and rumbling. Does this sound like anxiety to any of you?

yes!! that's was me since feb 16th,..and still a little today,....i did read that anxiety can flucuate the body temp and cause sweatyness. i'm in the same position as you,..possible hiv exposure,..testing relieves a lot of the stress/anxiety. i'm sweating and have burning feeling all over, my highest temp was 99.8,..i havent made it to 100, thank god. i've read that anxiety also causes dry skin and sometimes rashes. when were you tested?
