Anxiety and depression

I suffer from anxiety and depression. More anxiety then depression (I think), I've had it all of my life and I could always pretty much control it,up till about 12 years a ago. I've seen countless drs and therapist and have not gotten much help. I have uncontrollable feelings of panic, fear, and excessive worry ALL the time. I also have no energy, not even to shower or do "everyday" things that normal people don't even think about. I'm wondering if maybe my symptoms of no energy could be something physical? It's not like I just have no energy or will,it's like there's something wrong with me like something physical that won't let me do it. I know some of its the anxiety but it's more than that. My Dr says it's depression and anxiety but I don't think so. Does anybody else feel this way? And if it is something physically wrong, then what could it be? When I've researched it the things that come up are thyroid problems, chronic fatigue syndrome,or vitamin D problems. I've had these things checked and their normal but it's been awhile. I'm at the end of my rope with this and I need help!

You sound JUST LIKE ME.  The only difference is that I am under the care of a doctor, a psychiatrist, and 2 counselors... and I have a positive diagnosis for underlying mental issues.  I am properly medicated.  These are the things YOU need.

It definitely could be physiological, but that doesn't mean that's easy to find and diagnose.  Things that could cause this are fibromyalgia, chronic yeast infections, chronic fatigue syndrome, hidden viruses, parasites, die-off of beneficial organisms, thyroid dysfunction -- so many possible causes that are all very hard to diagnose except by a specialist that really cares to exhaust the possibilities.  But it's also completely aligned with depression.  If you can find one and can pay for one, as they almost never take insurance, there's a type of psychiatrist called a functional physician -- they understand mental illness, but first look for all pertinent physiological causes before diagnosing it as mental illness.
