Anxiety and heart

Dear all

Please suggest if needle like pain in chest also a symptom due to anxiety

I got and ECG and lot of heart rate found there , doc say there are changes in one lead and that could be due to Anxitety(99%) or MVP.

I have got normal BP ranging 130-140/85-92

also I got my Cholestrol test last Nov 07 and it came normal , any other test to be done or start doing yoga

I have fear about my health and family always

Thanks

the only thing i can suggest is therapy. its so hard to change your way of thinking and to break the anxiety circle, therapy is a great help although i do still have set backs, it takes time and effort to re-train the brain cause it is the brain thats the problem trust me!!

if you have any worries, fears or jus wanna chat feel free to private message me

yeah of course its possible, i can have it for weeks on end maybe you should return to the doctor to try and ease your mind, as the re-assurance you have already had doesn seem to be working.

is it possible to have chest bone pain more than a week , as I am having it whenever it comes to any particular position. it pains
normal it doesnt.

I am really getting frustrated by this ,

Also if I have BP and Pulse normal , is there still chances to worry about internal heart issues

Thanks scaredjo

I know what you are saying is write

even one of my doctor friend said that the more you get into heart matter ..more it get worse .

and the best way of be free from it to forget about it , i know its very tough to have that as once we have fear..our mind thinks in that direction only

I would say thanks to such forums where we ppl can share our thoughts and feeling and at least be relaxed tht we are not alone who is facing such problems.

Thanks

i have all sorts of heart/chest related symptoms even though i have had tests all have come back normal, i can imagine how you feel cause i would freak if one of my tests came back with a slight abnormality, i would agree with greenlydia though go back and see your doctor cause you will never rest until you know a 100% that your heart is fine. saying that even that may not stop the anxiety i recently had an echo which came back perfect and i still get symptoms on a bad day, its accepting its anxiety thats the key!!

As I just explained in my response, chest pains are a very classic sign of anxiety. But since you have written again so quickly about this issue, I would now change what I wrote and advise you to go back to your doctor and look further at these chest pains. You don't say how often they are happening or if you have any other symptoms while you are experiencing the chest pains. Your doctor may want you to see a cardiologist for more in depth testing, which will no doubt come back normal and hopefully this will put your mind at ease once and for all. But since they are causing you undue anxiety, DO something about them. See your doctor.
