Anxiety relief

I upped my dose of sertraline to 100 mg almost three months ago.  I am feeling a lot better but still not my self.  I feel like my mind is still everywhere but I am more calm and collective.  I can think rationally most of the time, but I don't feel back to myself yet.  Should I go up some more on my medicine or give it more time.  Or possibly switch.  I was on 50 mgs for over 5 years until it pooped out and thats why they upped me to 100mg.  I don't know if 100 is too much ot not enough. Any thoughts on this or can anyone else relate? Thanks so much!

Thank you!  I can function and I am doing better but I feel almost foggy.  Like I know whats going on but it isn't registering completely.

I always recommend exhausting all options with one med before starting over with a new one.  Talk to your doctor.  Even a small increase may do wonders.  It's not unusual to need a dosage increase from time to time, as ADs tend to peter out to an extent.

I have been on zoloft for over ten years and it's still working at the same dose.  First, I must caution you to never take, reduce, or increase any medications without your doctor's supervision.  You still have enough 'room' to raise the dose with your doctor's okay.  See him and ask.  Blessings - Blu
