Anxiety, stiff neck and head bobbing

I suffer from anxiety which started a year ago and I  have been on Loxalatte and Seroquel for a year now.

I have suffered the typical anxiety systems of racing heart, throat choke, sweating etc.  I have not had one of these for quite a while.  When i do, i take Clorazapam and it disappears almost instantaneously.

Something that has now started is that when i get into a stressful situation (like a job interview), i feel an incredible heat come over my head, i start sweating and my head starts to involuntary jerk to the left side, like a kind of bobbing.  My Dr says its caused by muscle spasms in my neck (the muscles that hold up my head)

However, for the past 4 days by head has not stopped bobbing  No heavy drug, even taken in large quantities makes any reduced impact to reduce this jerking/bobbing.

I exercise, walk, do yoga, deep breathing, meditation, massage, eating healthy, CBT - nothing helps

Has anyone had this?  more importantly, has anyone had this and found a cure to stop the head bobbing?

Appreciate any input you can give me

I have started Xanax 4 times a day and its much much better

Is my constant head bobbing due to increased med dosage or increased stress or due to increased med dosage made worse by stress?

Thanks for the advise.  Let me explain my situation a bit more

I have a very stressful type job as a leader of many people.  I took a year off and have just gone back to work.

At the same time, to cope with my anxiety of starting work again, my Dr advised me to increase by dose of Seroquel (Quatiapine) by 25mg and Loxalate by 10mg so that i now take 75mg Seroquel and 30 mg Loxalate over the course of the day.

I was thus confused of whether the head bobbing was due to increased anxiety of going back to work or increased med dosage

Under immense stress like being interviewed for a position by the CEO, my head does start to jerk, but its a jerking to the left and worsens if i raise a glass of water to my mouth during the interview. Clorazapam does help my head jerking during interviews but not entirely.  I have to hold by head and force my mind to stop the jerking.  The interview becomes an hour of excruciating anxiety where i am changing the position of my head constantly and holding it.  I am absolutely exhausted after an interview

I thus thought that my constant head bobbing was an increased anxiety from the jerking during interviews.  However,  my current head bobbing movement is different from the interview jerking.  Now  it bobbs up and down when my head is positioned upright and to the front rather than a jerking to the side and is a constant bobbing).   When i stretchy my neck forward then the bobbing stops.

From your reply, i think that my constant head bobbing appears to be from my increase in my med dosage.  But is it the increased Seroquel or the increased Loxalate?

And......   How long does it take for my body to accustomise to these increased meds so that the head bobbing will stop?

Many thanks for your advise

See the following link:
http://www.news-medical.net/drugs/Loxalate.aspx

According to what I read there, the head bobbing should not be happening.  Please inform your doctor that this concerns you, and you would like to be evaluated to see if it has something to do with the loxalate.  This is a seratonin re-uptake inhibitor, like Zoloft.  Ask your doctor if Zoloft may work better for you.  Unfortunately, those of us with mental issues have to run the gauntlet of try this and try that, before finally settling on a med-mix that works for us.  MY med-mix would not work for you, and yours would not work for me.  Everyone is different, which is why it is so difficult to pin-point a remedy.  I hope this helps - Blu
