well i had the stress test done on my heart and turns out when my heart is stressed a portion of it is not getting good blood flow to that part so im advised to get my anxiety under controlControl Control rx..well we all know i have been on benzosBenzo-o-stetic 18 years xanax most of all and it stopped working last year so onto klonopinKlonopin Klonopin wafer and they took me off that coldturkey and put on ativan which does not seem to be working,,,,i see another person on here that had the same thing done to them ,what do drs think they are doing,I was told i would not have withdrawals from the klonopinKlonopin Klonopin wafer but i believe i am im trying to hang in i have no more insurance to go impatient next stop would be state hospital..and my counsler feels i need it long term i dont i want to be well but the ativan hasnt helped all this day i have already taking 3 pills and im still all anxied out,,,,,,,,,,,,,,anyone have any ideas of some med like celexa OR something that might help im getting a new dr but wont see him for a few weeks.....is Ryan still around,i read all that awful stuff and glad he is alive
i'm sorry your going through all this. why did they take you off the klonopin? there are antidepressants that help anxiety as well as depression. i take paxil and it helps my anxiety. you will get more answers to your questions from other people here. i hope you find something that works. take cae. remar
your like me along time on benzoes, ive been on ativan many many years, how much ativan are you taking? it should help you, ativan is a fast acting benzo but it dosent have a long life in the body I need to take mine every 4hours and I can tell when I need it, but then my body is used to it, I so wish I could get of it. is that all they have suggested to correct the heart blood flow? its easeier said than done to lower our anxiety. keep us posted.

Ativan is actually very mild compared to Xanax... so maybe that's why it's not working.. you've been on benzos for 18 years you've said. Your body is probably tolerant to it.
