Bad days while on Lexapro
Hello,
I've been on Lexapro for about 2 months now and I have to admit that is has helped a lot with my anxiety and depersonalization/derealization. I would say that i'm about 95% back to my old self, almost at 100%. Still a little detached and spacey. My question is, is it normal to still have anxious days while on Lexapro? I just don't want to get cought in the cycle I was before I started the medication. Thanks.

The time to get concerned would be if your "bad" days began to outnumber your "good" days again.That you rate feeling good between 95-100% of the time is excellent.
It is very normal to still have days when you might feel a bit down. Antidepressants still allow you to have normal feelings.
Not that long ago, all of us would have had labotomies by now! We wouldn't be feeling anything. Persoanlly, I'll opt for feeling blue now and again!
Talk to your doctor if you have concerns.
