Body Numbness?

  Can anyone tell me if a withdrawl symptom of benzos includes body numbness?  Thank You.. God Speed....

Thanks for your reply how much Klonopin were you on? Did you switch over to Valium for  the taper? The reason I ask is not to be nosey but I am also trying to get off Klonopin....       God Bless Nate() I hope your taper is one of Success....

YES! I have had this since I began tapering from Klonopin 6 months ago...I have sensations ranging from pins and needles to numb spots, to my arm feeling weak (and numb even though its really not).
I am fortunate enough to have a P-doc who does not understand why it is such a problem for me get off this SH** , but supports me and basically does whatever I ask as far as writing the scripts and giving me time to go slow slow slow.

Have you ever posted to Dr. Gould on the "Ask a Doctor" forum for any of his advice? He might have some good insight for you. Be sure to give him the specifics of the dosage
reduction, nos. of days, etc.

  Thank you, you have such a great heart... I just wish I had never met my Pdoc he's an idiot... He told me today since I have tapered from 2mg of ativan a day to 1, he told me to taper to 0.5 in two weeks.. Do any of these Doc's in this f***ed up world know how to successfully withdrawl people from these horrible pills? I am so mad at my doc for taking my life away from me... I feel Violated.. And I feel remorseful for anyone one else who has to endure life on these horrible "Life Killers"... Thanks for getting back to me so readily... God Speed... Good Night... :)    Nate......

yes, I had tingling in my hands especially. Also had extreme feelings of loss, tearfulness, didn't want to face anybody - watching movies that I liked helped - maybe watching Rocky I will inspire you...
