to be honest madavigne .....for me lexapro does not affect my libido as much as zoloft did
How is it with your libido? I'm having that problem with my med I'm taking now. I just had my med switched (this morn) to Zoloft, so I don't feel like a "dried up old hag" anymore. I'm hoping this one doesn't do it too :(
I am glad you are feeling better. In my experience, as your body adjusts and you will notice vast improvements...but remember that some of what you are feeling could be due to your anxiety and not the medication. Keep us posted!
hell ya my nerves are affected....fasiculations, tingling , trembling in the morning, always shaking my legs.....xanax has been the thing holding me through tell hopefully this lexapro kicks in.... you should ask your doctor about a benzo until the lexapro starts working

Lexapro is an antidepressant that is an SSRI...just like Zoloft, Celexa, Prozac, etc. It is prescribed for anxiety and depression, and I am a big proponenent of medications like these as long as they are used as tool while you seek help through talk therapy...by learning about your anxiety and understanding this cycle, you can really get some long term relief form this...please keep us posted!
