Anxiety Symotoms similar to STD´s symptoms?

Hi to all, recently I posted on the STD´s forum because three days ago I had protected oral sex with a sex worker in my car, i didn´t took the condom out until i reach my home (like 10-15 minutes), checked the condom (no holes or anything strange) and took a shower. That night i couldn´t sleep becasue i was feeling very guilty thinking of my girlfriend. In the morning (7 hours after oral sex) I started to feel very strange sensations in my genital area, like burning and little pain when I urinate. I also started to feel a pain in the back of my legs. Today (3 days after the oral sex) i still have this symptoms. People in the STD´s forums told that my risk was nule becasue I used protection and that may be this sympotms are related to anxiety for feeling guilty and fear and that i should post in this forum. Can sombebody tell me if this symptoms can be just from anxiety?  I really need some advice.

You had protected oral sex. NO RISK!
It MAY be possible that leaving the condom in place for that 10-15 minutes caused some vaginal irritation.
I agree with the STD folks and think what you're dealing with is guilt, which then leads to anxiety, which leads back to more guilt, more anxiety and that particular merry-go-round stops here at the Anxiety Forum. Now it's time to get off, OK?
If you're really freaked about an STD, go get tested. That is the only way you will be 100% certain. Nothing WE say will give you that kind of peace of mind. Most of those test results are returned quickly. You do NOT need to be tested for HIV. You NEVER had a risk, so let that one go. Move on, as some would say.
The guilt...........well, that part is going to be pretty much up to you to figure out. We can't absolve you of that, and we aren't judging you about it. But it is time to ask yourself some questions..........like why you did it. That might be the place to start.
Take a deep breath and do what you need to move past this.
Peace

Thank you for your post, I know i´m beeing paranoid but I just can´t explain myself the symptoms I´m feeling right now because i used protection in the oral sex. So my hipothesis are:
1) Irritation for leaving the condom on?
2) Soap irritation from bath?
3) Anxiety symptoms?.....well about this I´m not really sure if there are reported cases of this particular symptoms casued by anxiety, that´s why i was asking....

Thank you

Leaving the condom on is a pretty slim possibility, but it COULD cause irritation I suppose.
The soap theory is really reaching..........unless it was a brand you've never used and you had some kind of allergic reaction to it.
Anxiety can cause just about any symptom you care to imagine. Since you have now spent three days worrying about them, they are probably ten times worse. The burning when you urinate and the genital pain could be a UTI. (Urinary tract infection) which you can get for many reasons that have NOTHING to do with protected oral sex! The pain in the back of your legs is a mystery to me. Hardly a classic anxiety symptom and I don't think it's a common STD symptom either. Perhaps there were some "gymnastics" going on during your car adventure and you simply pulled a muscle. You can pull a muscle or tweak a tendon and not even know it until the next day. Don't assume the worst!
Try REALLY hard to put these aches and pains out of your mind for a couple of days
and see what happens. If they are still there (or in your head) see your doctor.
Meantime, drink a ton of water to keep your urinary tract flushed, apply some gentle heat to the back of your leg, maybe a couple aspirin for the pain.........but only if it's OK that you take aspirin. Put on a funny movie or read a good book or go spend time with some friends..........get out of your head for awhile and relax!
My totally NON-MEDICAL diagnosis: ANXIETY
Keep me posted, OK?
Peace
