I am going to post what I posted on one of your other threads.  I'm really starting to think you are not reading any replies!:

Hello again!

You've started 4 different threads about different aspects of anxiety, so you're obviously concerned about this.  Thing is, Luke, you've never replied to any of the the answers you got on any of those threads.  Did you even see the replies you've gotten?  Several of us have tried to strike up a discussion with you about these issues, but that's a little hard to do when you don't reply.

We would LOVE to help you, but you have to willing to carry on some kind of conversation with us in order for us to do so.  In the very least, it would be nice if you would acknowledge that you read the replies, so we know you're seeing them.

So, it would be great if you could respond here...then we'll get down to business trying to sort through what's going on with you. I don't want to go crazy posting, as I'm not even sure you're seeing the replies.

Hope to hear from you soon, bud! .

My words stand...we can't help you if we don't ever hear back from you.  People are taking time to reply with thoughtful advice...yet we never hear from you again, until you start yet another new thread.

Are you having problems navigating the site?  Did you forget you posted the other threads?  Did you read all the replies but just not respond?

We really cannot help you without hearing back from you.  I hope you reply.

that is one of my fears, and while a very real very scary fear, it really is just that, a fear. we can't make ourselves crazy any more than we can think the sky pink. you can't make something be just by thinking it. This disorder is cruel and when we grab a hold of a obsessive thought, heart attack, passing out, crazy, etc, we tend to look for any way to validate our thought. when i go there, i stop and examine the situation; what came first, what is the proof, etc then name it. in the future i just remind myself, oh that is my i'm going crazy script. for some reason, identifying it makes it easier to put in the background and trudge on.
good luck and hope from the above answers and mine, you know you have an anxiety (or whatever your doc says) issue with sanity intact.

Being scared of going crazy could NEVER, EVER actually CAUSE you to go crazy. (That's just crazy!) JUST KIDDING. Sorry. Really. I couldn't pass that one up. I know this is not funny to you.
My answer is firm and backed up by about a million psychiatrists. Do you have any idea how many people walk into their offices and say "I think I'm going crazy!" Do you know what every single one of those doctors will tell their patients? And this is the absolute truth..................

ONLY SANE PEOPLE QUESTION THEIR SANITY!

So, in my totally non-psychiatric opinion, you are mentally very, very sound.
BUT..........something is obviously causing you distress to worry about going crazy.
Why are you scared that you may drive yourself crazy? Is there a family history of mental illness? Has this idea, for some reason, gotten stuck in your head and you've just gotten freaked that you can't seem to let it go?

I wish I knew how old you are. That could make an answer a bit easier.
But I would strongly suggest talking with your doctor about these feelings.
Obsessional thinking can be treated with therapy. Please know that I am NOT diagnosing you. I am not qualified to do that in any way, shape or form. But when we can't get an idea out of heads, we CAN become obsessed with it. I think everybody on this forum can relate to one degree or another what you're going through.
If, for some reason, you can't see a doctor, talk to your parents, a school counselor, a trusted adult or your clergyperson.
Please do NOT Google crap about going crazy!
If you can't find any help, know that we are always here.
You're NOT crazy. You're NOT going there. You can NOT get there from here.
Peace

I think so, a person can talk themselve into most anything. The trick to living a sucessful life to me is staying focused on being a participating member in society. We were born from the act of more than one person and depend on others for survival, love and other things we can get by ourselve alone. We are surrounded by animals, trees and the sky and some parts of this has answers and some only a mystery. Often we are afraid and other times fearless. We have ability to do some things and others no. We get hurt and we make hurt. The thing that i do that helps my sanity in the face of all this is try not to focus on my as a singular object but am part of a great creation. In some ways i feel i am a worker for God put here to bring enlighenment and hope to all the has been created. I also focus on being financially indepentant as without money no honey.
