NO NO NO your heart will not stop, sit down take a deep breath everything is going to be ok. You are probably having an anxiety attack. It's ok.... you are going to be fine RELAX. You are over thinking this and freaking out. Just say to yourself I am safe, I am safe reapeat it as many times as you can until you calm down.
Thanks so much for your reply I am some what calm but still realyy feel dizzy n heavy in the chest area facial and head pressure!!! For a while I thought it was just going to completely get to tired to beat anymore!!!
As horribly scary as panic symptoms are, they are not lethal in any way. You will not stop breathing, your heart will not stop beating. What kind of help have you sought for your panic and anxiety?
Ive had counseling. Taking hollistic meds cham tea an it had been working great today was just different and almost sent me to the er I have anxiety symptoms but never like this my chest felt full n I have had everything from A-Z checked actually had my yearly check up today b/p blood work all fine I just dont know how I lost control so quickly! Thanks guys
You may need to ramp up your coming technques a bit, or add some new ones to the mix. Hopefully it was just a bad day. Severe panic like that can really knock us off our feet! It's quite petrifying!
Hope you manage to get a good night sleep...try not to dwell too much on it.
You've gotten great advice.........there isn't much I can add. Lack of sleep can make our minds and bodies respond in ways they normally wouldn't if they were rested. It was a difficult way to learn that lesson, but now you know how important it is for you to get adequate rest. I also realize that life throws "stuff" at us that has to be dealt with immediately, which can mean we sometimes don't get the sleep we need.
If counseling worked for you before, you may want to think about getting back into it. As nursegirl said, perhaps your coping skills need a bit of ramping up. If you see a holistic healer, this would be something you'd definitely want to discuss with them. You may need to try other meds or increase what you're currently taking.
As for wondering if lack of sleep will cause your heart to stop.................if that was actually possible, we'd be stepping over bodies all day long!
You'll be fine.
