Do I need to wean myself off the Xanax
i HAVE BEEN TAKING Xanax for about a month at .25mg. Do I need to wean myself off. I don't want to get addicted to them. My anxiety was not severe enough to warrant me having to take anything like this.
if i were you i'd check with a doctor - preferably the one who prescribed the xanax.

I think in general they advise to not take them longer then two weeks uninterupted so maybe yes try less,what does your doc say though there can be good reasons to not quit just yet...
The PDR says that after 2 weeks the dose needs to be titrated down - so YES you need to wean off
