Oh dear, I sincerely feel for you. I was on paxil for two years, and it was hell trying to get off that drug!! I had every symptom you mentioned, and thos damn body zaps were the worst. Its gonna take awhile, but you can do it!! Just know you deff can get through this, and every symptom your feeling, no matter how horrific, is normal.
There is light at the end of the tunnel. =) Call your Dr. and ask about how you can wean down slower off the paxil while still taking the Cipralex. Take care. =)
Thank you so much for responding.

If you've been on it for 12 years straight you need to do a SLOW taper girl. How many mg of Paxil are you on?
Cutting completely off Paxil in 2 weeks over 12 years of use is TOO FAST in my opinion!
Yes! Those are withdrawal symptoms of the Paxil.
I'd call your Dr. and ask about a weaning regiment while you are still taking the Cipralex.
Take care. You'll make it through. Keep your head up.
