You haven't made it clear about what bangs are? I have no clue, are they bandander's or some kind of head band? Plus also can i ask what race you are... I ask this cause people with dark skin (afrian, carriabean) seems to scar worse than white, fair skin and from what i have read, seen treatment can be different in races.
I have a little experience of facial scarring due to my step-mum having severe burn scars around her jaw line and neck, which cover about 30% to 40 % of her face, i am aware of how consious you must feel because this has affected her immensly.
As for treatment, you can buy cosmetics out there that are made just for hiding scars, there are foundation type creams that both men and woman can use which do work. You could also investigate lazer treatment, but this i think is more siutable for smaller and less promient scarring, but worth having a chat with someone quaified.
Google 'cosmetics for facial scarring' and you should get a few sites come up that sell products.. although you may be able to get it free from your doctor so have a chat with him/her as well.
Hope this has been of help..but thought i'd just say that in a ideal society you shouldn't have to be bothered by what other people think about how you look, i do think it's very sad that anyone who has something slightly different about them gets so much hardship and made to feel so uneasy about themselves. I do hope you manage to find a soultion that works for you. Good luck!!

I am a Filipino, male. Actually, it's just my hair. My bangs is very frustrating to arrange and it looks bad. I cannot wear various kinds of hairstyle because of the scar.
