Thanks for the post! It's nice to know about people with similar things, actually I've felt like I can't brush my teeth but that was some time ago, I got over it :) This started practically yesterday and today I feel like it's getting a lot better, It's just something my minds has to control and maybe this will go away like your symptoms did after a few days, now I'm trying to eat things I really crave so I don't have problems, the problem is my mind automatically starts suggesting my body to throw up for some reason because I can eat well but the thoughts come after I'm done eating. I'll try distraction after eating and see if that helps 'cause yeah, my belly needs food! I agree. Thanks a lot!
I too have the nausea issues. For a while there, I would be hungry and then try to make food. The anticipation of eating made me nauseous though and I couldn't eat. I couldn't even brush my teeth without feeling like I was gonna throw up. These symptoms passed in a few days though. I rate throwing up as my number 1 hate in this world. I think it's from getting very drunk one night and regretting it for 2 1/2 hours the next morning. Nonetheless, I find it really easy to eat if I get something I really crave or want. If that's the case, who could pass up eating? I hope you get around it. Your belly needs food.
Yeah it's a tricky one lol but I'm already on track of letting that bad thought aside, if it goes away I can almost say I'd be anxiety free and that technique sounds pretty good! Thanks a lot and I hope you are doing well too, wish I could help you too somehow so let me know :)
Wow thats kind of a tricky one eh.... maybe when you start to think in this manner could you try a distraction technique, like repeating some calming verse or one of your favourite songs over in your head...
I am currently doing this when i feel a panic attack coming on and it seems to help... i repeat calming words over an over... i am calm, relaxed... i am safe and secure. Maybe you could try something similar. then if the negative thought slips back in just replace it with your choosen postive thought. It does take practice but if you continue to try it, it may become an automatic response when these negative thoughts happen.
