CELEXA???????????!!!!!!!!!!!

I have anxiety/panic disorder. My doctor has prescribed Celexa. If there is anybody out there on it, please let me know what to expect. I need POSITIVE and NEGATIVE comments. Pretty scared to start medication.  Never thought I would come to this point to need it, but I think it time.

I have been on celexa for 7 years with no problems and that dude I have a wine or beer everynow and then, the celexa and alchohal just makes me sleepy. It could be different for you though.

does anyone know if you can drink alcohol when taking celexa?......I mean I know warnings advise against it but....I don't mean like excessively drink but like a few beers or will it give you bad side effects or make you sick or something or make the medication not work even.

My sister, a close friend, and a pre-teen niece of mine all take Celexa.  None of them suffer from any side effects and for all three; it has been a life-saver.  They are all taking a relatively low dose - my friend has been on the medication for over four years.  So far, no problems.

Hi there, I have never taken this medication myself, but while your waiting for a reply you could enter "celexa" up in the search engine and read previous posts on it.  Just remember that everyone is different and your reaction to the medication will be your own.  I have a friend on celexa with good results.
