Doctors can not find anything wrong! Always lightheaded and...

I'm an 18 year old female.
I don't know what's wrong - I've been to the hospital 2 times, I've gone to my doctor, & they can not find anything wrong with me.
The first time I went to the hospital, I felt like I was going to faint, my head went numb and this weird sensation in my body that I can not describe. I thought I was gonna die! I felt so weak & dizzy.
I had gone to the doctor that very same day complaining of swooshing noises everything I laid down & this pressure and pain behind my ear. I thought It could be something wrong with my carotid artery, but the doctor said I was too young- true but I am overweight and have high cholesterol.

Both times I went to the hospital they said It was anxiety. I have a history of anxiety attacks but they have felt nothing like this & why would the symptoms last for more than a month?

-sharp pains in my head
-tightness in neck
- pressure on head
-pressure behind ears
-derealization ( I always feel like I am in a dream )  <========
- I feel like I am going to pass out any minute
- both arms go numb
- face feels tingly
- my legs feel crampy
- sharp pain in arms

Sometimes I think it might be my circulation. My blood pressure always come out normal though.
This is a nightmare- I always feel like I am in a dream & it feels so weird.
This has been going on for more than a month now.

Yes, I have had and continue to have many of your symptoms.  It is related to anxiety and can also be depression since anxiety and depression are often connected together.  I suggest seeking out a good psychologist/psychiatrist to talk to.  You will be surprised how many things that are "going on" inside your head that you aren't even aware of!

I understand all too well! Some things that come to my brain are : Anemia, Thyroid, PMS, Overweight, and Inner ear issues............and then of coarse good ol' anxiety.
Have you had all those checked out? (well with the exception of checking the weight out)
Do you take a multi-vitamin? Smoke? Drink caffiene or sugar? Eat alot of junky foods?
Please read "The Anxiety/Phobia Workbook" if you haven't already. You are so young-so much life to live!

The more we think about things the more we invite it on. I think you are just more aware of things now. To the point were you might be even looking for things. That is something anxiety sufferers do a lot. Myself included. If we feel fine we wonder why. Odd as that might sound. We look for something to be wrong with us. It wouldn't be us if we felt normal. You just have to try and not focus inwardly. Try and take you mind off the situation. Small fact is that nobody had ever died from anxiety attacks. They are bad when they hit us. But what if we let them hit us? In theory they should become less each time they hit. Because we are getting used to them. Easier said than done I know. But something to think about for you.
