need some reassurance today

I haven't been on here in a while because I've been doing good until last night I woke up feeling unwell and all day today have had chest pains eye pain and fatigue/weakness all over. It has been a long week so is probably anxiety but I have never experienced eye pain like this as a symptom. Its like my brain is not working right.

We seem to be typing at the same time and things are getting out of whack.........LOL
Here's the bottom line in my humble opinion. If you are still having chest pains and they are the "most constant" symptom you've had, then do NOT hesitate to go back to your doctor or cardiologist! You are obviously concerned about them which is keeping your anxiety level high which is probably causing your chest pains.........I'm sure you understand that you have to get off this particular merry-go-round.
Ask yourself what would be the most beneficial thing you could do to help yourself deal with these fears.........then do it. Nothing will change until YOU make it change.

Here's where those of us with anxiety and panic need to be careful. You had a cardiac evaluation just a few months ago and everything was good. Accept that and stop building bridges made out of  "what if's!"
It's highly unlikely that something has developed since your exam. (Why did you have a cardiac eval?)
If you normally had chest pains during an anxiety or panic attack, which is extremely common, then I wouldn't worry. If these chest pains are a new symptom, you need to see the doctor again.
It is far better to be safe than sorry but it's also a very short step from being reasonably cautious to being a hypochondriac.
I swear, those of us with anxiety disorders need personal secretaries to keep track of everything...............like where we left our Xanax!

But the chest pain has been the most constant symptom I've had since this startded so its hard for me to dismiss it as just anxiety and since I've seen so many doctors this year I hate to go running back for more tests.

Thanks. I had cardiac tests done in march and all was well so I think I can rule that out unless somehow I have developed something new

I don't mean to denegrate the knowledge of a GP, but when they listen to your heart, they are listening for really obvious signs of something wrong. A cardiologist knows that most heart problems are totally silent.

As for this mysterious eye pain, I'd pass your GP and go straight to an EENT. A GP, once again, when he looks in your eyes, he is looking for the most obvious signs of something wrong. But the eye is incredibly complicated and only the experience of an EENT and their testing equipement can find the deeper problems.

While I agree with plomeli to a great extent, sometimes I think it's best to error on the side of caution. You say you've been doing good with your anxiety until last night, when you woke up feeling unwell, you had chest pains, eye pains, fatigue and weakness.
You say you had had a long week, and if they're like MY long weeks, that means plenty of stress. I also understand how easy it is to blame everything on anxiety. After all, it's what most of us with anxiety or panic do. ONE symptom is all it takes and our anxiety kicks into overdrive and we revert back to being hpervigilant.
It is entirely possible, in fact, it's most likely probable, that your symptoms are anxiety related. But with chest pains, especially if they are a new symptom, weakness, and the eye pains, which are not a normal symptom of anxiety, I would urge you to speak with your doctor just to rule out any organic problems. I truly do not mean to scare you, but I did what so many people, myself included, recommend to people whose anxiety has made a sudden reappearance........to ignore it, stay busy, don't dwell on it. But this time, for me, the chest pains caused the anxiety, not the other way around and I ended up having to have 2 cardiac stents placed. I know I said that I didn't want to scare you and I've probably sent you spinning into a world class panic attack, and I am sorry if I made that happen. If you haven't had a good cardiac work up, then I think it can be dangerous to tell people it's just anxiety. And plomeli, I am NOT saying you gave the OP bad advice, you didn't. You told her what we ALL would normally tell someone in her place. My experience scared me so badly that when someone mentions chest pains, perhaps I have swung too far the other way in telling people to rule out cardiac issues before shrugging their shoulders and accepting that it's "just" anxiety. Mine was far worse than anxiety.
I just want everyone to be as safe as possible.

But then the eye problems started almost immediately after that

It's always a good idea to get new symptoms checked out by your doctor, especially since you've been doing so well.  If it turns out to be anxiety, just look at it as a bump in the road and don't dwell on it. Take care.

Sorry to hear that!!! I know what you are going through, I was doing very well and then I got the dreaded anxiety once again!!!! Remember that the first thing that anxiety does is give you a feeling of danger and puts you on high alert about symptoms. Try to relax and do something soothing dont let the anxiety take over, Good luck.
