U sound like me. I'm so very sorry for ur loss of ur parents! When did that happen? Now to ur question. Each and every night I fear I'm going to have a heart attack and freak out. It is just anxiety. I have been telling myself...."I'm ok....I survived last night and felt just like this....docs told me I'm ok" keep a journal with ur symptoms. So when u feel light headed with arm pain for example u can look in ur journal and see u had it before and u survived. Just pray. Drink chamomile tea. Leave sugar and caffeine alone.

I'm not on this forum very often. Have you been diagnosed with anxiety or OCD? Do you see a psychologist?
It is possible to hyperventilate without realizing you are doing it so the next time you feel lightheaded or your breathing gets weird try this controlled breathing exercise. Take a deep breath in through your nose, hold it for 5 seconds, and count this out in your head, then let it all out through your mouth. Practice this at first lying down with your hands on your stomach. Afterward you can do it anywhere at any time and nobody will even know you are doing it.
I certainly cannot diagnose you but both anxiety and OCD are highly treatable with the help of a psychologist so it is certainly not something you have to suffer with. The key is to seek out the help. Are you still on your parents insurance?
