i have tried this technique but could not get any relief. i told you i have this feeling all the time except i sleep. plzzz help
When you get this feeling of suffocation, have you tried controlled breathing? You take a deep breath in through your nose, hold it for five seconds and count this out in your head, and then let it all out through your mouth. I'm wondering if you are actually hyperventilating without know it. It is possible and usually you will get an increased heart rate as well. Give this technique a try and let us know if it works for you.
