Just to let anyone know I found out from the pharmacy today that taking certain OTC cold and flu pills especially the night time versions contain chlorpheniramine or antihistamine.. Which should not be combined with meds like xanax because they both contain an ingredient to make you relax and it can effect your breathing by relaxing you essentially too much... And I just called to actually check the interactions between my other meds and my antobiodic I got today and she told me this and it never occured to me and I am cautious of this stuff so I just wanted to pass this along since it's cold and flu season and I know alot of people on this site are on meds!!
I just noticed I totally worded the title all wrong!!! As FYI would have been suffient :-)
