I wanted to share this, just incase some of you health anxiety peeps out there have these symptoms this time of year. May make you feel better.
2 Weeks ago, I noticed I was getting pretty tired early in the day. I blew it off, surprisingly (usually I worry about every physical symptom I have lol.) and I just went on with life and thought it was too much sun or the heat.
Well, on the 2nd week of feeling so tired all day/night I started to get "WORRIED". I felt heavy in the eye brows, a heaviness between the eyes and middle of the forehead. My neck was kinda tense/stiff too, but it typically is anyways.
Everyone I talked to told me it was probably just allergies/sinuses. But as a health anxiety freak, I kept thinking it could be something else.
Along with the pressure feeling in between my nose, every now and then If I look down then up, the room my feel like it's moving for a second. Happened in the car a couple times too, felt like when I parked my car, felt like the car and I were moving forward for a second. That usually sparked me into a bit of a panic.
Anyway, I finally went to the Dr. today b/c my anxiety wasnt helping with this heavy eyed, fatigue, pressure feeling. I was also feeling depressed.
He checked me out today, said I was perfectly healthy and fine. He said it is sinus pressure, and that allergies/sinus issues are really bad right now in our area.
He said to take Zyrtec D. I havent tried anything, b/c im a dufus, except for some regular Zyrtec for 2 days... didnt do anything. So I'm trying the Zyrtec D tomorrow!
It's so funny, b/c my anxiety wasnt helping... I kept doing the "WHAT IF" thinking... thinking the worse!
And after my Dr. told me sinus pressure, it made sense... it feels like sinus pressure.
Believe it or not, allergies and sinus pressure can make you feel heavy eyed, tired, fatigue, dizzy, and some vertigo. Love my Dr. My anxiety has pretty much stopped! =)
I told him my "what if thinking" was bad lately... and I told him at one point I thought "What if it's a tumor?"
He laughed and said, it's not a tumor. lol. He said I'd be having WAY more symptoms. =)
Hope this has helped some of you. I am on the mend now. =)
