GAD Untreatable?

Guys......I have come to a conclusion....that Anxiety is untreatable...once you have suffered from it.....it will consume you to death....I am sorry guys....I dont want to dissapoint anyone....I wish you guys physical and mental health....but lets face it....i have never heard anyone completely recovered from it....I have suffered from GAD and mild depression since I was 17....i am 24 now and believe me i am still anxious and depressed....med helps a lot...no doubt but things are still grim...i just dont feel excited or happy...i have recently left my job because of work pressure triggering me anxiety which led to severe (unbearable) headache and chest pain...so much so that i prefer to left my job rather than suffering from it....
I just want to know....do you know anyone completely (100%) recovered from GAD and depression..if yes, then please tell me how?.......many thanks

Anxiety and depression are NOT untreatable!
If you have been suffering with these issues for 7 years, my guess is that you have not been on the correct meds and you have either not gotten into therapy or the therapist you HAVE been seeing is a quack.
Before you give up on everything, perhaps it's time to start from square one.
A new doctor for evaluation of your physical health and a referral to a new therapist and preferrably a psychiatrist.
There IS help out there for you but sometimes we have to look in several places to find that which will work the best for us personally.
Giving up is NOT an option!

And btw, I DO know many people who have totally, 100% overcome their anxiety and depression.
