Feeling worse

good am to all

i have been on 20mg celexa for 4 weeks now and xanax as needed.  I was doing better , everyday I would deal with
certain anxiety symptoms every day but for the past 2 days I feel worse.  I feel tense, fogged out when talking to people, dizzy.  Is this normal?   I want my life back and this feeling to go away.

No I havent. It all started with dizzyness , sinus infection.  I have also started a new job and I commute now so that is also another issue that contributed.  My husband helps me through it and it helps.  I only speak to my doctor who is GP.  I thought I was doing better but I guess as you said there will be setbacks.  I sometimes feel the adrenaline rush.  I go to the gym and it helps but last nite after working out I felt as if my body was trembling --- just odd.

In my experience with this, there are going to be setbacks.  We all have our ups and downs and some days are better than others.  Don't get too down on yourself in the short term.  For me, focusing on the long term, helps tremendously in working through this.  Are you going to counseling for your anxiety?  Remember, that medication will not 'cure' you of anything, although, for me, it was a great tool to help while I learned to confront the anxiety through talk therapy.  Keep us posted!
