I've been told my risk wasn't a huge risk exposure, and after waiting 3 months I decided to go get test. In the past 3 weeks I've been tested SIX different times, all negative. What I'm worried about is the way each test was done (not the way the training video shows the test to be done i.e.: smearing blood on the testing device instead of mixing it with the solution in the oraquick thing, leaving the sample stick inside the oraquick thing, having them swab my mouth and not me swab my own mouth, and not dumping out the absorbent pad in front of me). The latest test (today) the guy tested me with the Clearview Complete HIV 1/2 test and you are supposed to wait 15 minutes. I don't know how long we waited but it didn't seem like 15 minutes, and he was like "Well, it's negative we don't have to wait the whole 15 minutes I can tell you it's not going to change." Now I'm battling with the fact that the test wasn't done right because we didn't wait the whole 15 minutes. I don't have a problem accepting the fact I'm negative, but I just want the test to be done correctly and it is really bothering me to no end. Everywhere I've tested at won't test me again because it's too soon so they say, and I need to get over this as soon as possible because it's really interfering with other things........
