Spine Feeling on Fire

Hi. So I had the wierdest feeling last night.  I got up about 3:30 am to use the bathroom, got back in bed and immediately felt like my entire spine was on fire, like someone was holding a torch to it.  Shortly after I started getting a sharp pain in my head.  I tried to massage the areas of the back that I could to see if would help alleviate the feeling, but it just made it worse.  I have never had this happen before.  It eventually went away, but my back does not feel like usual, I don't know if it is because I was so tense during the episode or what.  Has anyone else experienced this or know what this is?

Just as a background I have been told that I have anxiety that is causing heart palpations and sinus tachycardia and am on celexa which has seemed to help alot.

This doesn't sound like a "normal" anxiety symptom. If it had happened to me, I'd probably think it was something like a pinched nerve or a strained or pulled muscle. It's best to let your doctor know since it's still bothering you.

Even when you have been diagnosed with anxiety, I thinks it's always best to check out any new symtpoms to rule out other causes.  Talk to your doctor about this, and never assume anything new is your anxiety.  Take care.
