if you do do suspect you are having other weird symptoms, other than this one occurrence, mentioned to your doctor as well. Be thorough.
Also, if you think you have anxiety or have had it in the past, then understanding anxiety is something you should consider. i would gladly tell you tips and share.

I have anxiety. And I know when I throw my body off, like getting weird sleep hours, I'll wake up feeling groggy like I was hung over.
And I've woke up many times with a racing heart or went to sleep with one too. When i'm tired and out of it, sometimes this has happened.
I know if you have anxiety or are starting to develop it, your body might respond strange to different stressors--for example an imbalance of sleep would give you such symptoms.
But, whether you have anxiety or not, best thing to do is go to the doctor and explain the situation if it really worries you. Otherwise, you can wait and see if it happens again, then see the doctor. But don't stress. Worrying never helps.
But I know I have experienced this personally. Many times.
Best thing is, accept that it happened and deal with it calmly and reasonably.
