Help is my symptoms anxiety

.Hi
I have had dull pain around my bottom right rib for about 4 months now.always stressing out about this? My first vist was to A&E as I felt pretty bad at the time they checked me out and sent me packing with no real reason. I then made an appointment with a local doc to se if they could shed any light on my pain.I was tested for UTI and my blood was sent to the lab also got a bit of a phisical exam. The urine came back fine and the blood showed some borderline results and was told to let sleeping dogs lie!!! I requested a scan and blood retests thats were iam at now my blood came back as the first one did with some slightly elveted results no infection and no fever no issues with blood in stools or vomiting the only problem I seem to have over the dull pain around the rib area is frequent urination they checked my waterworks again and they were fine so getting the scan this week god knows what they will find eeeck. the pain has spread from my bottom rib to the top of my right ribs in the centre of my body ?I worry a lot about my health and have pins and needle feeling all over and struggle to sleep. hope you are all ok and think positive.. would love to hear your thoughts.. .are my symptoms down to worrying myself sick?

First of all thank you for your supporting comments and advice about my health issues. I have had my scan today and after a good 20 mins the consultant told me he seen nothing bad and had no issues with my liver or gallbladder. This has really made me feel better but still no reason for the feelings iam having i.e the pain in my right side or the general feeling of being unwell. My head is still telling me there is something wrong and now iam looking for other symptoms and causes mainly worst case CANCER.I am driving my familiy crazy with my constant depressed state and dont seem to be enjoying life with this dark cloud over my head. I know it sounds silly that I have been told by doctors there is nothing wrong with me but I still endever to find a health issue? I think I just have to take the good advice being given and forget about my fears, easier said than done!!

Again kind regards for your advice.

I cant belive this good news has not made me happy and worry free!

Health anxiety can be very difficult to deal with, especially if you are experiencing it for the first time in my opinion.   I too have spent countless days and hours worried about every little ache and pain when I am in good health for a person my age.  If something bothers me I also tend to hyper-focus in on that area and notice every little symptom that I believe may be wrong with me.  I also believe we tend to misinterpret our symptoms as something catastrophically wrong with us when it is just a part of life.

I believe the best way to deal with this is to go seek help through counseling.  For me, it helped tremendously in confronting it.  Gaining the knowledge about why you are experiencing it will help you deal with it quite effectively in my opinion....keep us posted!

You will get closure soon when the scan results come back. I know it's difficult, if not impossible, to not think and worry about a sensation in our bodies that is not normal for us. Some people would recommend that you distract yourself somehow, and that might work for you really well. It never did for me, but I was at the top of my class in "Health Anxiety!" LOL
My advice is just "man up" until you get the test results.
If you think you may have some health anxiety or hypochondria going on, please consider getting into some therapy to deal with the root cause of those issues. They can really make life miserable. I lost YEARS worrying about every ache and pain I had, I'll never get that time back and guess what? I NEVER had ANY of those illnesses I was positive I had. Well, maybe with one exception.........I used to think I was going crazy. I'm pretty sure I've finally arrived!   :)
Chin up, eh?
Peace

It's quite normal for something in our blood panel to be slightly elevated. If they told you not to worry about it, then don't. If it was above borderline by a percentage they found unacceptable, they would have investigate further. It will be compared with the results from your next blood draw.
They checked you for a UTI TWICE and both came back negative. Perhaps you are simply drinking more and therefore, urinating more.
I don't know your age, but if you're in school, are you playing a sport? Do you work? Could either of those have caused you to pull a muscle and because you keep doing it, you keep reinjuring the muscle. Oh, I missed the pins and needle feeling all over..........that could easily be a pinched nerve from the muscle injury, and I see you struggle to sleep. Is that from worry about this rib pain or a chronic condition?
I'm sure the scan will show if there is anything to be concerned about, which I seriously doubt there will be.
Personally I think you've just got yourself worked up into a state of anxiety.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with keeping a watch on our health, but if you have any anxiety, keeping a watch on our health can easily turn into health anxiety and you don't want to go there. Trust me.
You'll be fine.
Peace
