my partners mum suggested councilling to me, after i went to the doctors and the said that i do have anxiety. iv been to 1 private session and it went okay, so iv dicided to keep going to my appointments hopefully this helps get rid of the anxity so my life can be normal
yeah its from childhood abuse that was still going on up untill last year. iv been through alot of troumers and the most recent one 2 months ago, i dont feel to comfotable discussing at the moment, but i have been really emotional and moody because of what happened and lately iv been having nightmares about it, and i wake my bf up screaming and crying. im really worried because iv also been told if you see a doctor they will put you on antidepresents which make you so much worse
well first you need to know the root or cause of your anxiety. I would suggest a few things...to speak with you family doctor and maybe he/she can refer you to a therapist so that you can learn how to identify what you triggers are and like I said the root of where it's coming from. You can also try doing soemthing you think that may eliviate your anxiety like walking or exercising. I know it sounds silly but I colour, it realxes me or I do breathing exercises. You can find alot of resources on the internet for different exercises. Do you know what is causing your anxiety?
The first thing you want to do is see your GP to rule out other causes for how you're feeling, and if none are found then see a psychiatrist for an evaluation and go from there.
