Awwww {{{{{lydia}}}}...right back atcha.  Happy Turkey Day to you.  Thank you for ALL you do here as a CL.  CJ too.  Your work is greatly appreciated.

I think we can make this a nice "giving thanks" thread.  I know that as an anxious person....I often get SOOO focused on the little (often silly) things in life that cause me anxiety, when I don't spend nearly enough time focusing on the good things.  I hope we can all share what we're thankful for.

Before I share...to give everyone a giggle...at our family dinner table this evening, we all took turns sharing what we are thankful for.  It was, of course, very touching....with the obvious things...family, friends...etc.  My 11 yr old daughter gave thanks for her bunny rabbit, and our new baby chickens.  It got to be my 4 yr old son's turn, and boy were the wheels a-turning.  He was trying VERY hard to come up with something...and THIS was his contribution...

"I am thanksgiving (aka "thankful") for my poop"

Not much could top that, now, could it?  LOL

While I surely am thankful for MY poop....let's see what else....  :0)

I would like to give thanks for my family, my friends, for the fact that I have a roof over my head when so many do not, for the job that I often hate...when in reality, so many others depend on me being there, not to mention...how many people do not HAVE a job.  I am thankful that I have my health when I see every day how quickly life can deal you a new deck of cards.

I am also grateful and thankful for this forum...I am gained such wondeful insight into myself and the world of anxiety, even after I thought I knew so much.  It also gives me such comfort knowing that I'm not alone in my struggles, and that my own pain can sometimes help others.  I am also eternally thankful for those MedHelp friends I have made that have become true friends, not just words on a screen.

Thank you all.  May you all have a blessed and peaceful, anxiety-free day.
