i thought nothing wrong could happen and now you see....
should i take that homoepathy again?or is it useless?
i dont really beleive in natural remedies...i more believe in SSRI/SNRI...

Yes everything your conscious and subconscious mind is perceiving might affect you biology and way of thinking and perceiving thing.

I suggest CBT and even hypnosis is proven to be helpful. Not all people respond to hypnosis but it's not quackery stuff like some people think it is. Hemeopathy is quackery stuff and you did try it so i would go for hypnosis and CBT and i definitely think it can cure the problem to the root. Even a bit of knowledge therapy might proves to be helpful.

You are so young, i don't think it's a good idea to jump on meds before actually trying more natural approaches first.

Thank you for the responds...
its hard to exerscise sometimes i am so anxious i feel twitching in my muscles example if i am running i feel my leg numbed and i start to panic and i cant go on
maybe i should mix medication with exercise?
aand nursegirl yes i tried homeopathy like i said and it worked thats why i assumed that SSRI as a prescribed serious non.-placebo medication might work even more
it might work so well it will treat me and i wont need to panic if i am with friends and drink a beer or two?same to caffeine
btw...i am going to graduate next year,i am 18 now..
i was really depressed the past 2 years...ive been abused,ALOT,especially in school
and i always think back as if,if i could turn back in time i wouldnt let them abuse me as much...but all i could do is hide and cry,i was small and weak, everyone was bigger than me
do you think it has any specific influence in my life?do you think it made me more prone to GAD?
i am a peaceful person...i  never start anything..but i try to defend myself if needed
too bad i couldnt do that back then...duhh

Remember everytime you say that word,i cant handle much more..its going to feed to your anxiety more..this is wat ur anxiety likes and hopes.I know its hard because i experienced it a lot, everyday infact but till recently i talk to a lot of ex panic sufferes, they told me their story, why they ended up sufferring for years, their answer was because they kept doing the wrong things everyday. Those what if,thoughts etc..u know wat i mean.because doubts interfere with ur recovery, just like a setback,at one time you could be doing very well, then u had one setback and you think thats it,its back to square one again, but do not think this way, doing so will never put urself to recovery.A lot of ex sufferes from panic disorder told me,the recovery is within urself nothing else, because ur the one who get urself into this, and also ur the only one who can save urself. It takes a lot of courage and effort, but its worth it at the end of the day.

I know how you're feeling bro. Hang in there. It will pass. I don't think the herbs will do much for you... to be honest.

I no longer take ssris I now just take a very small dose of Ativan when needed and it relaxes me during an anxiety episode.

I don't preach benzos bc I know some people have addictive personalities. But luckily I don't... And I can say that my 60 pills of Ativan will last me an entire year almost. But they HELP me soooo much.

Good luck to you.

Hello Travis.

With any kind of treatment, you must give it time, and try to be patient while you are waiting to see whether it is going to be effective for you.  Unfortunately, controlling anxiety is no easy feat for the vast majority of people, but it can be done.

Are you in any kind of "talk" therapy?  That is most beneficial as a concurrent treatment in addition to medications, natural,  or prescribed. This is because while the medications are meant to control your symptoms, the therapy is to teach you valuable coping mechanisms.  Something to look into if you haven't already.

You said you are a believer of SSRI type meds.  Does that mean you have tried one in the past and it was helpful?  If so, why did you not decide to go that route?  Or, were you trying the natural approach first?  If you had success with a prescribed antidepressant, I would say to give that a shot after enough time has passed and you're not seeing an improvement with the natural supplements.  You have to give these things a minimum of 6-8 weeks to sincerely be able to assess its effectiveness.  I know it is so very hard to be patient when you are suffering...but it is a must!  2 days isn't long enough to be able to see any improvement!!

Stop back and let us know what you decided and how your treatment is going!  Best of luck!

Diet and workup help you in many ways. Work out will make your body produce different kind of hormones related to physical and mental health. Testosterone, estrogen, thyroxine, epinephrine, insulin, glucagon and growth hormone are all related to physical and mental well being but i think the most important hormone related to physical activity is endorphins. Endorphins is an endogenous opioid from the pituitary gland that blocks pain, decreases appetite, creates a feeling of euphoria (the exercise high), and reduces tension and anxiety. Blood levels of endorphins increase up to five times resting levels during longer duration ( greater than 30 minutes ) aerobic exercise at moderate to intense levels and also during interval training.

Diet is also important due to the amino acids intake that play a role in proteins synthesis and most importantly correct amino acids intake ( all of them ) is essential for physical and mental well being. It is more and more suggested to have a proper diet and that diet is an important factor to well being. Proper diet also reduces your chances of getting cancer, cardiovascular diseases and basically a bunch of illnesses.

You won't see any improvement suddenly. You body needs to adapt and it is also true for any other treatments including SSRIs and SNRIs treaments.

Homeopathy is not scientifically proven to have any impact on your biology and it is more a placebo than anything else...

With proper treatments you can start to see improvement only after 1 month. So don't expect to much to fast.

Best regards,
M4
