calf pain is this related to anxiety

hello i wondered if anyone has had pains in there calfs related to anxiety or if it something else?

Hi;

   I think muscle pain and tingling are potential side effects of many meds if you are taking psychotropic medication.

   Otherwise, the sx could be caused by peripheral neuropathy. One does not need be diabetic to acquire PN. It can be a stand alone Dx, often of unknown etiology.

   I have calf pain and attribute much of it to long term Valium usage and some to peripheral neuropathy.

   Just some thoughts...

They are going to draw my blood to make sure that it is not potassium or lack of calcium i think they said is that what u ahd done?

I've been experiencing pain in my arms and lower legs, too.  I just got some blood test results back this morning and everything checked out normal.  So, as of right now I'm chalking the pain up to anxiety.  It's definitely not a good feeling!

thank u mine is in my left leg man that is real uncomfortable feeling... i do get it in my arms as well

I used to get like an aching pain in calves (mainly my right one) and my doctor said that it was from anxiety! I also get it in my arms as well.
